All the ones above plus for little ones my two have really loved Dear Zoo, I Like it When... (both from Bookstart), Dinosaur Roar, Moo Baa La La La, Come on Daisy and our biggest favourite is Go Dog Go! which grandma sent with the cuddly dog from america. This one is quite educational for a little one as there are loads of ups, downs, ins and outs along with colours and simple sentence construction. Highly recommended.0

The biggest favourite in our house was Where the Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendak.
I've bought more copies for other children than I care to remember!Do not allow the risk of failure to stop you trying!0

oooooh loads... I could go on forever lol. My youngest daughter is only 18 months and at the moment she loves Peepo, Dear Zoo, Each Peach Pear Plum and The Hungry Caterpillar.
For slightly older children my older two loved the Alfie books and Dogger by Shirley Hughes, the illustrations are so wonderful. I know most of the text off by heart as I've read them so much over the years.

Also Kipper, Percy the Park Keeper, The Tiger Who Came To Tea, We're Going On A Bear Hunt, All The large Family Series (hilarious!) Lucy and Tom (Shirley Huges again) Mog, Spot the dog, Meg and Mog, Burglar Bill. I'm really looking forward to reading all these again to my youngest as well as Charlie and Lola which wasn't around when my older two were younger which are just fantastic (love the TV series!)

Oh yes, we've got a shirley hughes collection and my son loves it. The illustrations are gorgeous.
We love 'owl babies' too. When I help out at playgroup (2-3 year olds) I have to read owl babies several times, to children who know it by heart
some of those books (bear hunt, owl babies, guess how much i love you) come with a dvd now too, it's somebody reading the story, and it just shows the pages of the book, it's not animated.'bad mothers club' member 13
