Mwahahaha my thought are correct. thought it might be that.

    Maybe, maybe not.

It was only a similar problem.

If I remember correctly, IE doesn't do a very good job of clearing it's own cache/cookies etc.

If this is the cause of the problem, then using CCleaner may possibly be more effective.

I am using Mozilla Firefox now.

    The thanks button is solved.

But now as I am typing this, my font has changed.. and the box is all grey.

Plus Mozilla is running much slower than IE

Thats because FF defaults to the advanced editor mode. Click the button in the top right corner of the text box and it will switch back. With the editor in advanced mode, I think its 'what you see is what you get'. If you copy in some text that was in a different colour and font, and pasted it into the chat box, it would do different things. In basic mode, it'll post it in the same font/colour as the rest of the post. In adcanced mode, it will keep the font and colour it had from the other website.

And FF being slower? Its always been faster for me. Try checking out the Adblock Plus extension. With that, it blocks all advertisments, should speed up web pages loading, and also makes them look tidier. Install it, get the easylist (USA) subscription and it'll run great.

So that proves that the problem is in IE e.g. cached files etc. Try using ccleaner and then try IE again.

I will do, I have that on my desktop but have been so reluctant to install many different programmes on this new one.

    Going to do that now.
