Need help with the Thanks button!

When I click thanks on threads, instead of it just taking the Thanks box from the post... I get taken right back to the top of the thread. This is really irritating for me. It doesn't do it on my desktop.

I am using Vista. Can anyone tell me how to stop this?

It's easy to stop using Vista: buy a Mac.

If the "Thanks" procedure works on your computer but not on the thing that you haven't mentioned, check that the thing you haven't mentioned is logged into MSE in your User Name.

Don't laugh at banana republics. :rotfl:

As a result of how you voted in the last three General Elections,
you'd now be better off living in one.

This laptop is maybe a week old.

It's brand new. There should be no crap on it to clean.

What I don't understand is why it is doing this. It doesn't on my desktop.

The above post is either from personal experience or is my opinion based on the person God has made me and the way I understand things. Please don't be offended if that opinion differs from yours, but feel free to click the 'Thanks' button if it's at all helpful!

I dont know. I have an orange box in the bottom right side saying Java update available.

Incidentally, I saw a beautiful MAC desktop in white at PC world and I am going to save up and buy one for my husband as he likes the desktop.

    He would love one.
