  • Piquant - REM are fantastic live and I never get tired of seeing them. Each concert is always different because of the different albums and different venue's I have been to. The first was in 1989 when everyone would say "Who are REM?"

Emily :grouphug: :grouphug: - Lots of hugs for you and I hope you feel better soon. You have changed the way I look at my spending and I cannot wait to make my daily payment each day. I think before I buy anything and now consider if I really need it, or if the money would be better spent reducing my debts. Your life will get better, because you are dealing with your debts too.

£1.27 for me today off the credit card. Payday tomorrow. :j

I went out for a meal with mates last night and I gathered up all the cash at the end and paid the bill on my AMEX to get the 5% cashback. £12.50 for paying the bill, so my meal was half price. I love free money.

Note to self - Must book more nights out with lots of people!!
I want to be credit card and loan free by Christmas 2010

  • I emptied my sealed can yesterday, and banked £180 of £2 coins :T :T
todays payment was £1 cos I haven't got anything else, saved a few pence with an undercharge, but that went in my budget saving sealed tin - so may not be able to add payment every day, as some go into tins and don't add ammount til actually in bank.
Hoping to stick to the challenge this year!!

    Hiya emily,
Found your thread and it's a great idea:money: have started to catch up on posts but this might take a while.
I would like to join you all on here and hope that will be ok, please
Even before I had my LBM I used to do something like this always paying off more than I should but not on a daily basis.
I'm now trying to clear my mortgage, so pay nearly double when I can and put extra into savings.
Your thread has inspired me so yesterday put £1.00 into money bag until I get another moneybox and also paid £1.00 off OH's bank overdraft as he has paid a fortune in charges and ignors it (it was his birthday so thought he could have a treat:rotfl: :rotfl: )
I'm on lots of challenges and work 24/7 as a live in carer, which stops me spending much as I'm never out of here, and although it has been hard the last couple of years, the job has allowed me to sort out alot of mine and OH's debt.
