  • Day 7

£0.50 - DS1 selling leftover Halloween sweeties again! He's actually taking orders now, and instead of sending him to school with just three packs, he's wanting me to send him with a minimum of seven!!!

Really bad news in that HSBC wrote to me today and said that they were withdrawing my overdraft facility of £1500 as of 7th December!!! Obviously I don't have £1500 that I can pay them NOW so I have had to ring and grovel and see if they can reduce it gradually. Anyway, long and short of it is, that I have one year to pay it off and it will reduce by £120 per month on the 20th! I'm a nervous wreck and will have to do some sums later on and make sure I can afford it, so payment-a-day is going to have to be something I stick to and see if I can pay it off earlier.

Good news - there's overtime on offer again (only through the week though so no lovely double pay on a Sunday :( so I am going back tonight to do two hours this evening - sad or what!!! It might not be on offer forever so I will just have to try and squeeze in as much as I can.
    Start Date: 27/11/2010
    Padding: Day 42
    Target £8000
    Amount: £562.23

Still concentrating on other things rather than PAD whilst itching and scratching. I am back at the Doctors on Monday.

My cupboards and freezer are sorted.
My meal plans for the next two weeks are sorted and only need to spend about £15 on some fresh bits.

The cupboards in the bathroom and ensuite are sorted. I have enough shower gel, shampoo, conditioner to last about 6 months  I don't even remember buying some of it.

It has been a gorgeous day here so sat in the garden writing Christmas cards :D, whilst enjoying two Twinks and a cup of tea

Also checked online banking. My expenses have come in, but the CC bill is not due tio be paid till mid December. We always pay the card used in full, so do I pay against this and use salary to pay the expenses and then use the expenses against one of the other cards. I'll have a think on that one;), may be wait for the bill to arrive and see how much it is.

One good thing about being itchy is I have managed 3 NSD this week:rotfl:and the two spending days were for prescription and calamine lotion. Pity.the same cannot be said for the OH, he cooked last night, Thali Meal and Saag Gosht Curry - £14.85 from the takeaway and then left about half of his as he didn't think it tasted that great .

Best wishes to everyone and here's hoping the interest rate cut comes our way and doesn't stop with the banks.

    All the best

    Hi all
Good news about the job weebag - that must be a great relief. The story about the oval looroll made me hoot!
Great to hear about all the uni offers for your kids Double Trouble - you'll have to invest in a railcard!
And Floozie - oh dear - but what a great attitude you have; hope the overtime goes on a bit for you.

£5.09 for me today made up of change and the commission from a book I sold and forgot to get the payment for.
Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Just added £2.20 to round my change pot to an even £20. Going to try and save at least £40 by the end of the month, then a few payments by direct banking. Funds scarce this week, but just trf some e bay funds across last night but will take 5-7 days to hit my account!!

I just love reading everyones posts. Everyone is so supportive and understanding. Well done to everyone for keeping up with the challenge whether it be 1p or £100+. Its all goes in our favour and not the banks!

    Have a nice evening x

  • Hello everybody, I've been adding money to my pot, counted it up and I've got £11.92, which is money I would have frittered away so I'm chuffed, especially as I don't remember putting that much in my pot! Hope everyone is well.

For some reason my comp won't let me thank people at the mo so i will try again tomorrow.

Have had a funny old week and feel exhausted. A loan account i have with HFC is subject to legal proceedings and despite employing a solicitor i am losing ground thick and fast. The positive is it is making me focusin on PaD even more than ever.

It is likely i will have to agree to a volunatary charging order so need to free up as much income as possible.

Hubby gave me some money today, so just for starters:
    £2 to Evil loan
    £5 to Abbey o/d
    £8 to Bclays o/d
    £1 to Egg
£2.50 each to gas and leccy
    £15 to friend

Have a fab weekend everyone :D

Weebag - you do make me chuckle!!
One step at a time ;)
