  • Just received my last October CC statement so have updated signature at least it is going in the right direction:rolleyes:.

It was my Halifax Plat statement and because they are reducing their minimum payments to 1% as from next month my minimum payment is £4.10 less than the estimated interest and that is one of my lower interest cards. So anyone with a Halifax Card CC BEWARE:eek:

    Afternoon everyone ....

Thanks very much to Mudbath, Greenbynature, Hopeful1, Sunny Donny and frasersmum123 for my lovely warm welcome :T .... very much appreciated .

I've had a good and naughty day today ...

First the good ..... Paid £55.26 off my Dorothy Perkins card .

Added another £2 to my pot ( grand total of £52 ).

Now the naughty .... A large bar of Whole nut choccy was shouting my name
when i was shopping today ..... Damn i wish i had saved
the money instead ... It cost me £1.50 and i've probably
put on 3 lb  , not only that i've eaten 3/4 of it
    already .....

Have come to the conclusion i'll never be rich or skinny .... but hey ho ... tomorrows another day .... !!

Anyway I hope everyone else is managing to keep on the straight and narrow ....

    Catch you all tomorrow ..

  • Welcome from me Fag_ash_lil I am planning a large choccy bar later in fact it would already been eaten if it wasn't still in the shop can't tackle debts and chocolate addiction at the same time that would take a miracle I'll settle for the debts for now but one day who knows I will be skinny too!

:rotfl: :rotfl: It's nice to know I'm not the only one who hears chocolate calling my name!! I bought 4 bars of wispas last night after my swimming session - I figured the calories I'd used up on the swimming would cancel out the calories in the bars :rotfl: I ate 2 of them the other 2 are for tonight

  • Thanks to everyone on the comments about the nasty credit card charges. It does feel like two steps forward , three steps back. But decided to do something positive today, so have just been and took the change to bank and credited £40 to c/acct of which on return home have logged on and paid it towards my VIRGIN c/c!! Will carry the remaining £2.90 over to end November.

Yes PIQUANT Virgin is part of MBNA. Great attitude about clearing the debt and I do indeed intend to get even!

I have to say that I few months ago I would have sat and brooded about it , so thks again

Also welcome to Fag_Ash_Lil. This is the best place to be when debts are looming

Good luck to your DIL GREENBYNATURE. I hope everything is going okay with the arrival of your GDD2. x
