Morning everyone.
Sending lots of positive vibes to those who are feeling a bit down due to CC charges. There is light at the end of the tunnel, and at least you are all being proactive, making payments and overpayments, every little helps.
For me today, £5 to catalogue and £5 to Cap 1. I am really trying to get my debt under £4k before Christmas, and as im not going out much since having Niamh im not spending, so I might just do it!Moving on upSPC #382 ~ £40 banked

Northernspender re cc interest I know how you feel - sometimes feels like your just pouring money down a bottomless pit!! But on the bright side with all those little overpayments it will eventually go down!!! Welcome to all the newbies (Fag-Ash-Lil - love the name lol)
I went swimming last night with one of my friends and was surprised when she paid her £2.75 in 5p coins - thought that she'd just had no change and had to raid her change jar but no she told me they're really struggling what with bills being higher and her hubby on 3 day week at the moment (he's in the construction business and its really bad) Just shows those people you always think are well off are struggling too.
Have a nice day all

Morning Everyone
What a day just had to use an umbrella to come a few yards from the house to the office absolutely tipping it down:eek:
Congratulations Snugglepants look forward to hearing about your wedding plans I will have been married 23 years on Sunday:rolleyes: to a wonderful man and have 4 wonderful children so I definitely recommend it:rotfl:
Waiting for my new baby to arrive today (no don't get any wrong ideas) I'm a Foster Mum all my babies arrive by car :rotfl:better than C section any day:D. I am going to have a hard job explaining to my youngest where babies come from though
Just made my PAD to HSBC CC £11.64 making a total of £70.14 in 6 days which I wouldn't have made if it hadn't been for you lot:T
Going to update my sig now only going to include these additional payments in my PAD challenge not the payments I was going to make due to snowballing my CCs. Will update my CC debt when I get my last October CC Statement.
Thanks everyone great to read all your posts.

Just checked online re VIRGIN statement which i got today. Nearly fainted when saw interest charges!! £ 210.29 and asking £215.29 minimum payment. No wonder people never clear there balances at this rate i'd only be ever clearing the interest charged:eek: Sorry rant over, but just got disheartened over the whole thing.
Went straight back into C/Acct and paid £5.16 overpayment. Can not pay whats due until i get paid in a couple of days
Also put £1.20 into loose change pot, of which I'll be bagging up and taking to the bank in the few days. Going to overpay this on dreaded VIRGIN:mad:
You have all my sympathy Northern Spender, that's why I'm attacking my A&L card, the interest rate is criminal! I think they both belong to MBNA
Don't get disheartened, get even! ie a zero balance! I've carved nearly £600 off my card since starting this challenge. I will clear it by September next year, they are not having any more of my money!
I paid another £2.28 of it today :TTotal debt at October 2008: £67,213.30
Total debt today: £0 - debt and mortgage free 29th November 2013 :T
