  • Morning all.

Just checked online re VIRGIN statement which i got today. Nearly fainted when saw interest charges!! £ 210.29 and asking £215.29 minimum payment. No wonder people never clear there balances at this rate i'd only be ever clearing the interest charged:eek: Sorry rant over, but just got disheartened over the whole thing.

Went straight back into C/Acct and paid £5.16 overpayment. Can not pay whats due until i get paid in a couple of days
Also put £1.20 into loose change pot, of which I'll be bagging up and taking to the bank in the few days. Going to overpay this on dreaded VIRGIN:mad:

Hurts doesn't it northern spender ? I'm at that stage with my nasty HFC card, minimum payment was £140, interest was £144. The only thing I'm taking great glee from is this time last year my minimum payment was around £250, and I was always late, balance near the the limit. I was in a very scary place with them. Just want this card out of my life forever, nothing to show for it.

    £3.00 paid today.

Now for me. It's a good day. It's payday and i have received some long awaited backpay :j

I've made all my main minimum payments, including the evil loan, of £25 and added £1 for PaD.

The back pay has meant i've paid for the electric for last month and this month. I'll be making extra payments then, to ensure i'm paid up until the end of December. Hubby's national insurance payments are also paid up for this quarter. As i've said before he's self employed and always has at least 2 weks without work at Christmas if not more

I've also paid off cap 1. I will continue to use this for internet shopping but only if i can pay it back in full each month.

Obviously i still have debt, but for the 1st time in a long time i'm acutally up to date with everything and not worrying about any reminder letters.

    YAY!!!!! :T

    Mornng all

((hugs)) to those that are fighting with their CC's - at least you are making payments instead of ignoring them, which I imagine there are a lot of people out there ignoring their cards at the moment :(

So far today I have managed £5.60 which takes me to £72.38. Hopefully there will be a bit more to go in today - it mightbe temporary though because I have a phone bill due out end of the week (had forgotten about) but i I pay this out of savings I will get the money back when DH gets paid.

The bill mght have o come out of the money I have saved but at least it is there - gawd only knows the panick we would be having if we didn't have the savings to fall back on - we would either have no food or no phone !

Hope you all have a great day

    T xx
