i am just going to put £1 in my pot today. i have been adding to it throughout the week - do you just take all the coins to the bank to pay off your card??

do they need to be in the little bags or can you just take a mixture of coins?

i usually put them in the coin star machine but they take 7%
    Hi pebblespop
I have a change jar that I empty every now and again and I bag them up separately and take them to the bank, I'm with Natwest and I don't think they'd take mixed bags of coins. I wouldn't use that coin star machine because of how much it takes off!!

I think it is Full and Final Settlement

So he has a debt of say £1,000 and he writes to the company offering them a full and final settlement of £600 for them to go away.

Hope this is right anyway :) There's probably more to it then that bu that is my rough understanding.

McJordi - Hope they take the offer and you can get rid of the debt ((hugs))

    Hiya
I'm still managing my £1 a day until the end of the month. No extra payments though I was tempted to 'borrow' some money from DS (7) earlier - don't worry, I didn't. DH has taken the children away for the weekend (I couldn't go because of work, puppy etc) and I decided to gut their bedrooms whilst they're away. The amount of money i've found in his room. Money box empty and £1 coins here there and everywhere - ok, it was only £9 but was I tempted! I didn't, I didn't!!!:rotfl:
