£2.45 today, although I am not sure if I'll be able to cope next few days without touching it - have transferred ebay money across to my current ac but that takes couple of days...most will go on credit card, but some may have to go on food :)

    Morning all !!

No payment for me today after paying a big chunk yesterday (£50+) so that should cover my payment a day for a few days.

Pippo - Good luck with the E-bay listing and well done on the £500 overpayment. Once you have the rest on Interest free you will start making LOADS of headway !!!

DC Well done on the £4 will soon be gone :)

Bigbeff - ((hugs)) hang in there and try not to touch it !!

Going to sit down with DH today and run through some figures. I think if we are careful and really cut out ALL UNECCESSARY spending we can put £150 of our Child Benefit payment to savings on Tuesday.

I know this doesn't sound like a big thing but it is to me and DH - we are slowly coming to the realisation that we are king and queen of buying <r&p, but we are realising it has to stop.

I am getting so upset in realising just how much money we have wasted over the last year or so and that actually we don't have a lot to show for it.

I am hoping today I will manage to list some bits on E-bay which might bring in some extra money for Christmas and savings. I think I am really going to have a good sort out because I have some great bits which we don't need and should sell well (Autograhed Valentino Rossi Book, etc)

Love to you all and have great weekends

    T xx

i am just going to put £1 in my pot today. i have been adding to it throughout the week - do you just take all the coins to the bank to pay off your card??

do they need to be in the little bags or can you just take a mixture of coins?

i usually put them in the coin star machine but they take 7%

  • Tashja - we are the same when it comes to spending. DH is self employed and we were looking through his figures for last year when we were getting £4k some months, but its all gone with not very much to show for it (except a new kitchen) - the more we earn the more we spend!

But now things have taken a turn for the worse, and we are struggling a little. Its opened our eyes, but it makes me really upset to think of all the money we have wasted.
