Im being really strong, and I havent spent anything yet - but spending for me is like an addiction. .
I am having the exact same problem at the moment. I'm sick of looking in my wardrobe for something to wear and seeing the same clothes I've looked at for the last few years.
So I went on a spending spree. Well, almost. I ordered a load of clothes from Look Again, but the beauty of it is that when I eventually get the clothes I'll hopefully will be feeling more positive and I can send it back.
I find it's the inital thrill of it that I like, and when the clothes get here I'm not that bothered anymore.LBM February 2008. DFD March 2013 19 August 2011Debt at LBM £14,395.48. Debt Now £00 -
Im exactly the same, they look so nice in the catalogue but when they get here im not really fussed anymore.
My doenfall has really been my boys, spent loads of money in Next, and while the clothes are great, they only seem to wear the same few pieces, so I have donated stuff to other people that still have tags on.
No more though - I have declared war on my shopping habits. My debts have to go!Moving on upSPC #382 ~ £40 banked

Hey frasersmum, I have loads of stuff here to parcel back up for Next and send it back, like you say, it always looks great in the catalogue and then when you get them, you think twice about paying for it all and it never looks as nice in the flesh!
I had to resist going on a spree this morning, I've been doing so well but went to see my best friend last night who has just had a massive extension built, enormous luxury kitchen etc etc and loads of new clothes for work and I woke up this morning thinking 'stuff this, I need some new clothes, I'll head off to Next with my CC', but I have resisted, I'll treat myself to a big spree when our debts are down significantly (and will use cash not a cc instead!!!)Aug GC £63.23/£200, Total Savings £00 -
