It really isI can't wait to get next month's statement and make my first payment that includes all of these payment-a-days ontop of the regular monthly payment. I've only been doing this challenge for a week now and I already have £5 in my tin. I know it's not as much per day as some people on this thread but that extra £20 or so a month will really help be get rid of this debt quicker (I've worked out that the additional £20pm will get rid of the nasty CC 2 months quicker!!!) and that keeps me going every day

Morning all,
well done to everyone who has cleared a balance, shortened their debt payment times or even just got in control of their finances!
Like everyone says on here this is just so addictive and so worthwhile. Sometimes I get down about all the debts but just by chipping away at them one by one I know it makes a huge difference. Plus everyone on here is so encouraging and so motivating that it makes it all worthwhile.
Paid £5.17 to Egg today.
Have a fab Friday folks! x0 -
Ok. Not exactly happy - phone bill went out today £83.60 for calls when vodafone messed up my bill taking off stop the clock without telling me. They have credited me with £11 due to me being a long standing customer but tell me it wasn't their fault. RUBBISH! I am going to keep nagging and told them I will leave when my contract runs out. My phone bill is never over £25 a month! Anyway, on a lighter note, transferred £5 to card. Think all my hard work is going to be undone in Dec when I have trip to Sri Lanka booked - can just see myself spending a lot!! Oh well it will be trip of a lifetimeDebt busting 2022 Total £15842.68 £0 (100% paid since 1/1/22)

gtx - hope you feel better over the weekend.
mistyblue - well done you!
biggbeff - how fab having a trip like that to look forward to.
Frasersmum - gtx is right. It's the worst time to worry about your debts. Tiredness makes everything seem so much worse. Sleep when you can and try to enjoy your loved ones. Big hugs from me.
And hello to everyone else
£5 to evil loan. £1.50 to savings.
Happy Friday :jOne step at a time0
