Oh, and I was accepted for a credit card the other week (CapitalOne - I wanted it for ID theft/free Credit report), am waiting for the card and welcome statement this week.
HOWEVER...I have decided I am not going to bother, I think it's a temptation waiting to happen, so am going to ring and cancel it when it comes and am going to try and add to my savings more instead. I really want as little debt/credit as possible and can't wait until Natwest OD and DFS (stupid sofas) are paid off in full! Am going to lower my Littlewoods available credit by £50 whenever I can and am going to have to really try harder to get my mum paid back too...!

Well done. I wish I'd had that sort of willpower. I probably wouldn't be in a dmp if I had. I had my dmp review today and I'm going to increase my payments - although the review indicated that I should have reduced them. I shall be keeping up my payment a day but from November it'll probably be a lot less than I'm saving just now. At least my debt will be reducing quicker.:j

I've paid £1 into my savings account today. I'm just gonna keep it at £1 a day for the time being, got 2 big bills going out this week. but once they're out of the bank i'll know more where I am with my money and then I'll pay more each day.

Well I now know I am totally obsessed with this...stayed up to pay Egg £5.03. Very proud to be doing this, haven't missed a single day since I started!

Had a cheque from an E-bay sale clear this morning, so have paid £23.00 off my Next account!

If im not on tomorrow then you will know why, but keep up the good work folks - your all doing fantastic!

I dont know why I didnt do this sooner!!!

Just made 3 payments....

£2.00 creditcard
£10.00 overdraft
£7.00 savings (for 4k 2009 challenge, I need 577.95 to start january with)

I still have £20 in cash in my purse and nothing much to pay out for this weekend, I also get my maintenence from ex this afternoon (£40 cash) Might pick up some fruit and bread for over the weekend but thats it.....

Thats 2 days in a row ive paid now:)

Have updated my sig to include todays payments (OH finally gave me some extra money and a DD went out for DFS)
So...
£39.36 paid to Littlewoods.
£61.61 paid to DFS for sofas.
