  • Three pound today that I found in a pair of jeans this morning, so have put that in my bag. Going to have to put my bag money into my bank account on saturday as not got quite enough money to cover mortagage and this will cover it. So really this challenge has made me get out of a huge stickymess. Going to be what ever change I find round my house, for the next couple of weeks till payday, but will make sure I find something a day, even if its a 1p.
Isnt it amazing when you face up to your problems properly and monitor you internet banking how much better you do each month.
Also want to say I love reading everyones signatures and seeing how well you all do, its such an inspiration to keep going.

    Hi all,
    New to this thread!!!!
After reading this thread for a few weeks, I have decided to join you to finally tackle my debt. My head has been buried in sand for a while. Just got an appointment with CCCS for the 13th October and also called companies I owe money to let them know and provide the ref number.
    Anyway,
Just paid £2 on my Barclaycard, it feels good.

    Many thanks for your inspiration...

Wow Northernspender, sounds like you are doing well:T

Putting in $1 today myself ;)

    Now at $13.77

This is still so cool....almost two weeks later I haven't missed a day :o

    Thanks ZoeyGirl.

Has been tough but I think (am sure most will agree) if this thread hadn't been started i would have carried on paying my minimum payments probably till eternity. But actually enjoy ( sad I know) making these daily payments. Still putting off my biggie debt (£14.5 VIRGIN), but feel if I can get my smaller debts out the way I can then concentrate on clearing this debt!!

    Hi everyone

I might have to join in on this, can you tell me how to do the strikethroughs in your signatures?, do you pay these amounts daily off your debts or do you 'save' it up and pay it all off in one go?

Anyway my Quidco money has been paid today £98.17 so that's going straight off the Argos card!!!

Hello everyone, it's great to see everyone doing so well, really inspiring!

£11 for me today as I've been away from my 'puter so have missed a few days, OH wanted to do some more payment to his cap 1 card but the website isn't accepting debit card payments for some reason?!

Milliemonster to do the lines through the amounts, there is an icon which is like a S with a line through it, click on it then put the amount you want to cross out in the middle. I think some people save up every day and pay off amounts once a month and others use telephone/internet bankong to pay every day, I use internet banking and for some reason I find it soooooo satisfying :rotfl:

  • Well, I think I've done some bits today that are going to help me in the future (I hope). Firstly I joined paddypower b1ngo through quidco and so netted myself £20 just for that (although I'm sure it'll be months before I see it). I deposited £10 and eventually won £24 so made myself £14 profits there.

Secondly, I joined a bzzzagent campaign for a Philips steam iron. I had to pay £20 but it's going for about £50 on ebay so may sell it on after I've used it.

So all in all, I've made a profit of about £64 today - but I won't see any of it for a few months. Planning ahead you see!
