I'm already paying big(ish) chunks off my credit cards, so I'll join in by putting money in an account for my holidays next July. I would very likely just be spending on those cards again, so any I put away before then will reduce what I have to stick on the cards.

Off to put a fiver in to give me a good start.

Good morning all

Put £1.70 into my savings account today, its coming down nicely now, so tempted to just pay off the rest of the balance and move onto the next one, trouble is things are really REALLY tight at the moment, mortgage coming out on the 7th and it will take me into my overdraft until i get paid at the end of next month, at least with my promotion it should be a little more though.

Got millions of things to do today so off to get started

Good morning everyone. Paid £5.01 to the ISA today. I've been saving 20p, 50p and £1 into different pots which I counted yesterday and there's £40 so far but I'll keep adding to it for a while before I pay it into the bank.

Well done purpleposting4 on starting the christmas shopping. You've inspired me to start mine this week. My normal christmas shopping is done last minute and I always end up spending more than I planned. This year is going to be different!!

Paid £35 to cap 1 cc my min payment went out which was for £90 but with all extra payments I've made this month they only wanted £55 but had set SO up for the min of £90!! and £10 to kays today

Morning all.
Paid £1.35 into loose change pot for yesterday. Got paid today:j , so have just paid min payment on NEXT which was £21.00 then just been online and paid an o/pymt of £6.21
I even refrained from hitting the NEXT sale this weekend as i'd booked my timeslot to go online then decided that didn't really need anything. Plus I've been doing realy well clearing this account down over the last month and didn't want to see the balance increase and my hard work out the window!!!:T
