well we had a mass clearout at the weekend and I sold some bits on ebay, it is also payday so I have paid a good deal off of my total. This will now diminish into dribs and drabs over the next few days........ but I will get there! On the negative side we only had a clearout as our last child left home to start a new life with her partner (sniff), so I now have empty nest syndrome. How quickly can you order grandchildren these days?
My little granddaughter arrived about 18 months later. The downside to that was that they live at the other end of the country to me - not far from Cambridge. Upside is I've still got 2 (not so) children at home. Although to be quite honest sometimes the only way I know they live here is when I find their dirty cups, dishes, etcProud To Be Dealing With My Debts - DFW Nerd 323

Just a £1 for me today.
Went to a funeral this morning so I feel quite low, but it does tend to put things in perspective. One of them being it doesn't matter if I only have 1p or a million pounds, the fact that I have my health is more important.
Will be fine when the kids are back from school so I can give them all a big hug.
I hope everyone is having a good day (and I hope I've not depressed anyone!)
Hi mumofcookers - hope you're feeling ok now and that a hug from the kids did the trick. Have a cyber hug from me too x
£1.50 paid to evil loan this morning, £1 to savings and £1 to Cap 1.

:hello: Morning all,
just went to pay went to pay Egg £5.30 and am so excited because my monthly payment of £45 has come off bringing me down to below £1000:T In fact once my payments for the last few days start showing I'll actually be closer to £900! My payments only show to 25th plus I have made a weekly payment today of £15.
I'm so happy:rotfl:
Have a great day all!0 -
£40 paid to my mum today (loan), she's been great and making payments for me until I got rid of the worse debts, but now I have to pay her back more each month to make-up/catch-up! Will have to sort out at least £250/month so watch this space!
When OH gets paid tomorrow am hoping to lower my natwest overdraft to £50 providing he gets paid right. Am hearing about people getting charged for overdraft 'reviews' costing £25 with HSBC and I don't want my bank to get any ideas!!!
I guess it's a lot of people's pay days today/tomorrow, so good look with getting these debt totals down! x0 -
