    Morning everyone :hello:

Slight change of plan here. I had a large unexpected expense and had to pay for it on the only card that I use. So I am going to put the extra that I earn from ebay etc towards that debt and pay £1+date to A&L until the £324.50 on tesco visa is paid off. Today I paid £20.29 to tesco and £1.29 to A&L
Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30

  • Received £80 for selling table and chairs on Friday so paid that off to Barclaycard today, was all excited as that meant I was now £40 below my credit limit. Phoned them to ask for a new barclaycard as was going to keep it for emergencies ie run out of money to pay a bill, so that i keep my credit rating going up.

When on the phone was told my card account was shut down to missing payment last month. Said I made a payment for £28 from a friends account on the 5th Sept, but they say they dont have it. Now have to send a copy of friends statement to prove I paid it but they say I have to reapply for card, which I know I wont get. Why is it when you think you are doing so well the !!!!!!s get you down again.

I was having a really good day today as won the bonus ball at work £47 and friend at work gave me a tenner for some trousers I gave her. Will anything ever work for me.

  • Morning all.
Just a £1 for me today.

Went to a funeral this morning so I feel quite low, but it does tend to put things in perspective. One of them being it doesn't matter if I only have 1p or a million pounds, the fact that I have my health is more important.

Will be fine when the kids are back from school so I can give them all a big hug.

I hope everyone is having a good day (and I hope I've not depressed anyone!)

well we had a mass clearout at the weekend and I sold some bits on ebay, it is also payday so I have paid a good deal off of my total. This will now diminish into dribs and drabs over the next few days........ but I will get there! On the negative side we only had a clearout as our last child left home to start a new life with her partner (sniff), so I now have empty nest syndrome. How quickly can you order grandchildren these days?

            Hi,
late posting today but paid £5.29 to Egg this morning!
Keep up the good work everyone.
          2. Hi All
Paid £5.64 to credit card tonight, so grand total paid off for September is £63.76!!!! Would only have paid about £30 off normally - so paid double and it is now sub £600 - aiming for the same if not more to be paid off in October. Sold 4 items on ebay yesterday, 1 more finishing tomorrow and will list another 10 items tomorrow to finish on Sunday - got some winter clothes out and sorted through summer ones to either save or list on ebay!!! Will transfer ebay money on 15th of month as a boost to credit card debt.
Have started overpayment pig for OH credit card as I can't pay it on-line for him, so will acquire any change he leaves about for this and pay on 17th of month - will let you know how much I can get - 20p so far!!!
Mortgage free as at 1/9/13 :j
To start work on the credit cards now!!
