A payment a day............

Morning all
Congratulations on your big win greenbynature:D
£4 for me today and £5 for OH (his is for two day's worth though). I'm thinking of switching my payment a day to one of my higher interest debts (additions at 30 ish % ) I picked one of my smaller credit cards though for motivation (and also so I had some money available on it in case of emergencys:o ) but now I'm thinking the sensible thing would be to get rid of the higher apr one first....hmmm decisions decisions:rotfl:0 -
Ha L-M it's terrible having so much choice:D If the high interest is costing you more i'd go for that. Unfortunately most of my loans etc were sent to debt collectors. The only perk is interest was stopped even though i've had most returned to the original creditors!
Anyways - £10.00 to evil loan, £1 to savings and £1.29 to Cap1.
Happy Saturday everyone :beer:One step at a time0 -
I had roughly £60 from a payment a day (into my saving account) which I was going to keep until the end of the month but the temptation to reduce one of my bills now was too much so I paid half to DLRS and half elsewhere (dont remeber who to, but it was a credit card).
I've worked out that if I can pay £8.90 per day during Oct to Barclaycard then my bill will be paid off :j . Really shouldn't be difficult, I'll cut back on spends at work and I'm ebaying stuff like no tomorrow so fingers crossed it'll be gone.Lightbulb moment Dec 2005 - debt £23700

Wish I could afford £8.90 per day!!

When I am work it so easy to spend £5.00+ on lunch, so I will be stricter on myself and make my own everyday. I do smoke (I know, not very MSE of me) but my parents will bring my cigarettes from abroad so again I save money daily.
I'm also working in a different location this month so get expenses paid, so it works out an extra £25 per day for me (£100 for the 4 days).
Plus eBay, car boot on 19th Oct and I'm going to count my coin jar this month, so fingers crossed all this will make a difference!Lightbulb moment Dec 2005 - debt £23700

The Barclaycard will be cleared on Monday when the monthly standing order goes through and should be around £80 in credit. :j One down, two more debts to go.......
Emily can you knock the Bcard off my target on the first page. Thank you so much for your daily challenge.
I am going to have a month off to give the bank account a little while to recover and then start up again after next pay day.
My next target is to raise enough funds to clear the car loan in February 2009, can you please add £7000 to my target (as well as the £7,000 for the Virgin)
Keep going eveyone, I will still be checking in during the month.I want to be credit card and loan free by Christmas 20100 -
Afternoon all.
Not been able to make a payment from bank account this weekend as no money in there till Mon/ Tues next week !!
So I've put three pounds i found in coat pocket in loose change jar which will be counted up at end of month and paid as an overpayment to NEXT.
Have decided to switch as 1st October and concentrate on making overpayments to my VIRGIN c/c instead. Need to be rid of this card asap!!
