£2.40 paid today. Saw my 'friend' last night who owes me over £60. Very annoyed as she didn't even mention it so have had to send an email today to gently remind her that she owes it to me
The problem is that I'm always the first to offer my money to pay for things, and I have this stupid faith in people that they'll pay back - I think I'm going to have to stop doing it.LBM February 2008. DFD March 2013 19 August 2011Debt at LBM £14,395.48. Debt Now £00 -
Call me mad, but have started buying christmas presents! I already knew what I was getting the kids this year, so have started to see some good deals and half-price offers, so am going to buy a couple today! Am determined to buy a little-and-often from now until christmas so I won't struggle!
Have worked out a budget and can afford to get a couple of things this week and still pay a few minimum payments next week.
Whatever change I come back with will be put in my change pot for next week.
(Spring) Autumn-Cleaning my finances has led me to completely go mad and clean/sort the house this week! I feel I need to be on top of everything and in control. Tidy house - tidy mind - tidy money or something like that...!

Morning everyone. The weather is pretty miserable just now but at least I seem to be getting over this cold.
Paid £5 to the ISA so it's now back to over £100. Yesterday I sorted out my car insurance. The best quote was from Asda and I got £73 back through quidco so I got fully comp for me and dh for less than £100:j .
