I was so desperate to clear one card at least, that I transfered money from my savings and paid £400 off the Barclaycard today. I am hopeful I should be very very near the zero if not in credit.
Looking forward to my statement which is due next week.
I now need to start drip feeding another account, but I don't want to feed the Virign card as it is 0% and I don't want the money in my easily accessible savings account either. Mmmmm. Not sure what to do.I want to be credit card and loan free by Christmas 20100 -

Just paid £5.10 of the Egg and now the payments have started to show.
I'm thinking that on the last day of each month I will pay the additional pennies to round off the amount to a whole pound then start again with the amounts for each day.0 -

Evening all. Haven't posted for ages as a bug swept through the whole family. All 5 daughters and 6 grandkids had it so I was playing Nurse Nancy to all then I went down with it. I could only manage a extra 1 off payment of £20 due to being mega skint and car needing MOT. Hope rest of the month will be better.Off to catch up on all your posts.payment a day challenge £2 per day £45 so far0

Another £5 today.
Big congratulations  to all of you that have managed to zero some of your balances. Hopefully over the next few months we'll see more and more posted here. I'm going to be moving the money in my ISA into another account to pay off the overdraft. I'll wait until I get to £200 though.
Have a nice evening everyone.Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts - DFW Nerd 323

Hi not posted for a few days but have been putting a bit each day into my savings account to pay off at the end of the month. Have put my £60 additional payment received in my wages today into the credit card fund too so my grand total so far this month is £137.20. :j plus whatever change is in the loose change pot at the end of the month.
I have a few vouchers of my shopping for this week so that will go into the pot when I have done my shopping. Feel so motivated with this so thanks to everyone for your support.0
