  • Have been working out the rest of my debt is interest-free stuff so in addition to debt-clearing, I have just opened a savings account - the plan is to save £1000, eventually! This thread has been motivating me to sort my money out!

Have just credited it with £1 - a start anyway!

Am still writing everything that goes in and out of my bank account into a notebook - it's working! I can finally plan my money! It means that I may not be making a payment every day, but can plan larger payments over the month.

    Happy debt-clearing...! x

    Happy Birthday Greenbynature.

£1.10 for me today. Decided to keep paying it on the Barclaycard, even though I think it might be near the zero mark and then I can ring up when the statment comes in and ask for it all back. Won't that be nice for a change ...:T
