    Keep simulating my pay slip at work (I have access to the Finance system) looking out for the extra £60 we should all be getting this month as part of the goverment tax changes. Still not there yet...:confused: I'm of to ask them why!! :rotfl: :rotfl:

    We should be getting £60 this month and £10 every month till March 09 if you are a standard rate tax payer. Mine is destined for the Barclaycard.

  • My challenge has now changed as I would like to clear my Next account ASAP there was £70 on it and yesterday and today I have done £5 payments to ensure minimum amount is met but here on in I will do a daily payment to this card to get it cleared (I will use the pence trick mentioned earlier :D so I can keep a track!)

    The odd pence payments since 5th September are still not showing so can't wait til they hit!
  • £1.61 today.....can i just say i am a bit worried genuinely so that barclays may put a note on my file that i have gone loopey....i mean these little little payments are sure to cause concern.

    ah well....when the men in white coats come i will have this as post as proof.

    Wahay, I checked my balance today and it is less than 2k now! :) very happy!! Put another £2 in my pot to pay off when it hits £10...up to £6 now! :)
