Still £5 in our local they have loads left and not too long a date code either. I wish they would hurry up and reduce them as am getting a bit fed up with Grumpy dragging me into Mr T's every other day just to check and HE HATES SHOPPIING:mad:0 -
Tesco on Infirmary road, sheffield today had long grain rice reduced to 50p a bag as being discontinued, so bought 6 lots, must have thought I was having curry night as also bought Sharwoods jars too.0

Hey everyone,
I was just reading through your posts about best deals and I too find that the price changes, but I think that is also because that they 'try' to source locally produced food where possible for that particular stores or collection of stores.
If you want a list of 'best buys' each week that are national and in one place, my suggestion as I get their newsletter and use the website is www.mealsavers.co.uk
That is the best on the web for having everything in one place at the same time and its updated all the time.

Yes, we also bought the rice today at Gillette Corner. The 500g bags were reduced too, about 35p I think. Strangely the 2kg bags were still over £2! Very long shelf life, too. I find that often the things which are 'reduced to clear' on the shelves are back at a higher price the following week with no difference to packaging etc.A [STRIKE]B[/STRIKE][STRIKE]C [/STRIKE]D E [STRIKE]F[/STRIKE]G H I J K L M N O P Q R S [STRIKE]T[/STRIKE]U V [STRIKE]W [/STRIKE]X Y Z0 -
