If my kids gave me an ironing board I would shoot them!

I don't even have my mother do my ironing and if I gave an iron to her, it would have to be in a wide-open-space so I could run further then an iron could be thrown...

:think:I'd stick with the (reduced priced if your looking for discounts) chocolates or flowers!
  • In our few local stores over the past few days some of the items from the £1, £2, £3 etc boxes have been reduced. I got laptop bags today for £1.50 each instead of £3, pliers for 50p instead of £1.00 an loads of other bargains so keep your eyes peeled.

"The enjoy Organic co" Lasagne Sheets - no pre-cooking needed, 250g, reduced to 27p.
In with all the other pasta, with yellow sel - sorry cannot remember original price - about 4 times as much though.
Best before date of 2010 on the ones I bought

Kiltie Breaded Scampi 250g - 6p. (Blue bag, in freezers)

This went through as £1.99 (which was a reduced price) - unfortunately not 6p!

Important bit of information you overlooked.

    250g

The giveaway price is obviously on a discontinued product because of a change in weight.

The £1.99 product (which is as you say reduced - "half-price" I think from £3.99) in only 220g

Need to find 250g bags if you want them for 6p

Sadly my 2 stores didn't have any.

ALSO don't get too excited when you find a blue bag of breaded scampi that weighs 250g like I did - just about to check price when I realised it wasn't the KILTIE brand. It was KINTYRE instead.

Sandhurst as well - a box accidentally fell into my trolly yesterday! It may also get accidentally eaten later on!

Just picked up a Tesco Large Ironing Board reduced from £35 to £8.75..

    125cm x 46cm.
    Steam iron rest with silicone.
Plug adapter to extend cord reach.
Fitted cover with 8mm felt pad.
    Shirt tray.

Can you (or anyone else that's found it) provide the barcode of this please ?
Not in my nearest 2 Extras and when I phoned CS they couldn't find a Tesco LARGE Ironing Board on the computer - "Medium" & "Family" but different price and details don't match.
They said barcode would be best way to find the item on the system.

    Anyone ?

My mum does not do my ironing.. I do my own & 3 kids clothes..

My mum works very long hours & away at weekends clearing out my nans house.. So flowers would be a waste sitting in an empty house.. She's been on a diet ever since I can remember so has always asked for no chocolates..

This ironing board is MASSIVE so she'll get her ironing done in half the time.. I clean her house in exchange for babysitting favours, but refuse to do her ironing on her 30 year old board.. Its not something a girl treats herself to.. So as I said she really will be pleased with this gift..

    The barcode is 5051622035036..

It was a small store I picked it up in, not an Extra... HTH's
