I'm not sure if we're referring to the same thing here, but the price of the 800g Pork Loin Joint With Stuffing varies from shop to shop: at Tesco Metro Hammersmith (inside the bus/tube station), they had loads for £1 today, but at Wimbledon, they were still £5.

    It's just a shame I don't like pork...

i dont like caviar but if they were selling it for 75p i think i might just hold my nose and eat it
  • We were shopping in a couple of Extra's in Devon today and got some great bargains. We got a fisher price child's first garage reduced from £29.99 to £7.48 I think, baby annabell pushchairs reduced form 9.99 to £2.49 and a few other toys at stupidly low prices. Winnie the pooh dressed up as different charachters, in one store they were reduced to £1.50 each in the other they were still over £5.00. Also we got boys sleeping bags, they were blue with a skate boarder on for £1.46 instead of £6. They did have them advertised in the first store we went into but had sold out then we got them in the second store, so it maybe a national reduction.
    Happy bargain hunting xxx

My mum does not do my ironing.. I do my own & 3 kids clothes..

My mum works very long hours & away at weekends clearing out my nans house.. So flowers would be a waste sitting in an empty house.. She's been on a diet ever since I can remember so has always asked for no chocolates..

This ironing board is MASSIVE so she'll get her ironing done in half the time.. I clean her house in exchange for babysitting favours, but refuse to do her ironing on her 30 year old board.. Its not something a girl treats herself to.. So as I said she really will be pleased with this gift..

ok ok ok! was only a joke! chill!!:rotfl:

OK - I'll let you off. If my ironing board was 30 years old I might be pleased with a new one!

I've been to two fairly substantial stores over the past two weeks & neither have had anything like the bargains you folk are finding :( I swear it's because we're seen as super-rich softie southerners who are stupid enough to pay over the odds  It's about time any type of retailer with more than one outlet, began charging the same price in ALL of their stores.

*crawls away again, embarrassed for the outburst to look for properties in the north!*

ETA...I've asked for number plates for MD this year so I don't have to pay for them to get through the MOT--had a breadmaker last year...sneaks out again......

Apologies if this has already been posted and also if it's too late but in the Bristol Hartcliff Tesco home store they these lovely kids table and chairs sets from £38 down to £7.09!! and the matching toy boxes from£18 down to £4.86! I got both in pink and blue for my kids rooms. They look lovely and I'm just a little gutted that I spent the same amount just on one table and chair set in IKEA 3 weeks ago! oh well, you win some you lose some I guess and now I can always open a toddler cafe in my living room! :rotfl:

The Bristol (Hartcliff) store had sold out of the pink by the end of the day I think but as far as I'm aware they may have some blue ones still and worth checking if you have a store near you. I got some side tables there once down from £30 to £6 each! These offers are never online though which I'm almost glad about as I always miss out on online deals!
