Just a flying visit. Afternoon all!

Happy Birthday to jayward and anniebooklover:beer: Hope you both have lovely days. Annie that present from your daughter is just so special. What a thoughtful girl:D

Haribo and Pink-winged. Special hugs to you both.:kisses3: The loss of your mum has to be one of life's most painful events. Glad you think a madcap mum is lovely, I tell my boys they're lucky to have one:D

RosyRed, I used to have really long hair that I often wore *up*. Mine is very thick, but even so was always easiest to do the day after washing. Even hairdressers, when asked to do a *pin up* used to want you to wash your hair the day before, because *dirty hair* is easier to do. I don't know if they say the same now but I think it's because freshly washed hair is too slippy.

It's lovely and sunny here again today, if a bit humid. I'm just off to do some gardening before the green waste is collected in an hour or so.

Dinner will be chicken curry from the freezer, so no effort involved there, just how I like it:D

Thanks for all the birthday wishes. I've actually had a very good day so far (though DD is in danger of spoiling this by throwing a wobbler :rolleyes: ) and I'm looking to book a very nice wee restaurant for dinner tonight. I'm just waiting for XDH to give me the ok as DS and DD are staying with him tonight.

OH has relapsed, doctor has just come and she's called ambulance, please pray for Dsve if you're that way inclined and think of him if you're not I'm so scared he's never ill on the way in the doctor was amking jokes about man flu then she went all serious

Hi all - just had to tell you all that I have finished the favours!! I won't tell you how much mess I have made doing them but that can be taken care a bit later.

I have just treated myself to another look at all those lovely men and I'm going to have a cuppa.
