Fingers crossed for you silvercharming. Its amazing what these hospitals can do and I'm sure that whatever is up will be fixed in a jiffy. Well...maybe not quite a jiffy.

silvercharming, prayer said, hope Dave is home with you soon.

mioliere, well done on finishing the favours:T Now try and relax for an hour or two:D

Well I had a very productive couple of hours in the garden. The green waste bin was full to the top by the time the binmen came. Nice man even took the last armful I was trying to shove in from me:D I think I may have overpruned a couple of the shrubs:o They'll grow back:rotfl: Not like when many years ago DH (no gardener:rolleyes: ) pruned our diseased apple tree by severing the main trunk. That certainly didn't!!!

Well the timer is dinging, so dinner's ready:T

Haribo & Pink - I know how you feel :grouphug:

Silvercharming - Have said a prayer for you both

Candygirl - don't forget that palliative care services can provide support for the family too, I know the hospice my mum was in had family support & counselling. Hugs to you, it's horrid losing either parent, especially when there is nothing that you can do to make them better.

Just been talking to Jayward reason she hasn't been about for a couple of days is the pain in the stomach as flared up, and she has been in hospital, just got home. She persuaded them to let her home, as she could not rest in there. She hopes to be back with us tomorrow.

Prayers and good thoughts for you Silvercharming.

    H-J & P-W (((hugs)))

  • Phwooar, Kaat - thank you :):):)

Silvercharming, you and Dave are in my thoughts.

AnnieBL, happy birthday, I like Deacon Blue :D

When I finished my stint butty making, I called at my Aunt's shop to help out for a while. Uncle is now covered in chicken pox, even on the soles of his feet.
Whilst Mr Twit is away, I'm trying to use up some of the stuff lurking in the freezer. Tea tonight was Ikea meatballs, cream sauce, mash and beans. It was scrummy
Mr Twit phoned this afternoon, thinks he will be home for the weekend and wanting to check that I had sorted out the invoice he told me about this morning  MEN

Haribo & Pink...hugs to you both today.
Candy, your dad will be well cared for, hugs to you and your mum.

Silvercharming thinking of you and Dave

Ooooooo Whatatwit - many years ago when I had chicken pox I had them on the soles of my feet too, not easy to walk I can tell you

Kaat thanks for the photo I was wondering where to park my bike :D

Moliere don't forget to take some pics of your favours when the tables are laid at the wedding, I wasn't able to see them in the link you put up the other week, and am intrigued to see what they look like after all your hard work

Had a quiet day at work today, so time dragged a bit. It's never one or the other is it.

    Have a good evening all

Just popping in quickly because I have heaps of reading I want to do. Sending (((hugs))) and thoughts to those in need. Hope the poorly folk are on the road to recovery.

Poor little BM hasn't known what' s hit it today, it's been on three times! I don't feel like I've achieved huge amounts but I've done more than usual so I'm not complaining. My neck feels a little tight though, so I reckon an early night is called for, maybe DH will massage it for me.

I used stardrops for the first time yesterday on my hob... WOW! It hasn't made a dent on the oven door (hehe) so I'll look out for Starclen when I next do my shopping.

Have a quiet evening everyone, and may tomorrow be brighter.
