Rawr, I would love to see your tortoise cuddled up to a sock bet he looks ultra cute.

I have been waiting to catch him for a pic but its been to warm, but this evening he was using his hotty again.

Though, I cam back a few minutes later and his big brother had pushed him off.

Then, another 5 minutes later, they had both decided to share the hottie.

And, as promised ages ago, my sock Elephant.

This is going to be a easter present for my sister. I have filled the bottom of it with sand and so it can be used as a door stop. :)

And for those having problems getting photos up, the easiest way is to upload them to photobucket (and it means you always have access to them as well) Then just paste the IMG code over. Thats the one that starts with [img][/img]

Your sister will love the elephant present.
Your tortoises are gorgeous are they kept inside most of the year (I know nothing about them!)
They are such interesting creatures. I love the colours and patterns on their shells.

I have some books with sock creatures in. Off hand, I know there is a dragon and a pig. I could possibly scan them and email them to you if its any help?

And thanks, yeah, the tortoises have to have UV and heat, so they live indoors through the winter, then kinda spring and Autum they spend most the time in the conservatory (its heated too) and the summer most the time in garden when possible. There still only babies, so take a bit of extra care. The small one still just about fits in the palm of my hand, but he is twice the size he was when we got him.

Thank you, thats a very kind offer. I will let you know. At the moment i have a tutorial for a dragon which i think i can 'amend' to make more like the shrek one. and will have a look next week for a tutorial for the pig. i am sure i have seen one!!! :p

nothings going right today. i did a sock cat wrong and the monkey i stuffed using asda pillow as stuffing and its horrible. i hate the stuff. but wilkinsons have sold out of pillows and dont know when they are getting any more in. :(

Rawr; wow they must have been really tiny when you first bought them. They are like me need
to keep warm all year round!

Made two teeny twins sockies but not got a photo of them. They went to US to a lady that is expecting
    twins.
