Sock monkeys!

**tip toes in**
i was telling my daughter about the stolen monkey (i have previously made her one:D), she is a final year journalism student and has a radio show and works for a magazine, she said the local stations & papers would probably love to run a piece on this, she knows if it were local, her editor would,
more about the return of the monkey than exposing whoever has stolen it, but it would make a good story, with hopefull a happy ending
exposure is bound to jog someones memory, and it may even get monkey back with his rightful owner:)
she also pointed out, if you are a seller of monkeys, it would give your craft exposure too!0 -
She has already been on the radio. she was pretty quick on the ball and some good free advertising for herself and her fab makes too..0

Whoo hoo welcome aboard Shelley
Shame about Freddie - I wonder if she was genuinely trying to find the owner but she should have left well alone anyway.
I'm going to start a group on FB to invite people who have shown interest - I'm so looking forward to it

Loving the sockiness!
I've not made a sock monkey, I used to make sock creatures for friends when requested. This is one I made for my friend Bob (who moved to Budapest) and have made lots for his friends there:
