Sock monkeys!

Our main Tescos had girls socks (if you make baby monkeys) reduced from £2.50 to 50p for three pairs. Size 3-5.5 In lilac/cerise/lilac-cerise-cream striped.

Hoping some of you lovely ladies will be able to help. I want to buy a sock animal book.......basically would love to be able to make more than a monkey!!!

Can anyone reccommend a book?

Stray sock sewing & stray sock sewing too (two) are often mentioned.
Try your library before buying as although there are lots of great pics they are not all covered by the tutorials.

I've not got either yet!

I've got both of those books and although they are nice to look at and have a few ideas - the instructions are not for all the animals and are pretty basic. You still need to look at the pictures and work them out for yourself.

Thanks ladies. Im really just looking for something that will give me instructions for things like sock monsters, pigs and maybe a little doggie.

Might have to brave the library (the woman there absolutely terrifies me!!) Was really hoping to buy something from Amazon but want to make sure I get something I can actually use!!

Well, I finished the cat. Before you see her I just want to say, I know she is lumpy, and i know her ears need to be bigger and i know she is a bit misshaped and I know that when the kids hear the bell I am so gonna be ripping it off!!!!! :rotfl:
