Hopefully, you will be able to see my sockasaurus on this link and the couple of monkeys ive made. No laughing though, only started last week!

That sock-a-saurus is brilliant. i didnt even think to make one like that!!

there are loads on here now, everyone has done brilliant. i love the pirate. the only thing extra i had on mine was a eye patch. and afterwards i though it was a bit silly to use 2 eyes as 1 had a patch sewn over!!!!

Anyway, i have just finished 4. 3 are orders and the other one will put away for one of my neices for xmas.

Sock Monkey Number Two! The eyes are stuck on with blu-tack because he's going to have button eyes when I get some buttons (hopefully on Friday.) I'm going to make him some accessories (will reveal all when I'm finished) and he'll be part of Dad's Christmas present



(And yes I know he has no mouth. I need some thicker cotten or something for that.)

I buy Googly eyes from ebay Sharon.
They also have them in Wilkinsons.

You can also buy sew on eyes, or eyes on shanks that go through the material and need to be put in place before stuffing.
Search eyes in the Craft section of ebay.;)

Thanks cuddles and upsy daisy... i have never used sew on google eyes.. what size would you recommend?

I called into Heatons and bought 20 packs of socks they were in the sale £1 for 3 pairs

The eyes i get i dont sew on, they have the eye and a washer for the back (inside of the sock) i force them on through the fabric so dont have to make a hole to put the front through. Hope that makes sense!!! :S
