Great pirate - well done!
Just finished this trio - bigger ones are chenille and are going to 3 year old twins.
One in the middle is a birthday present for a 9 year old boy.Jack of all trades ... Master of none

Hi all!
Ive just bought my first sock monkey kit and im after help! im not the worlds best at sw
ewing and im unsure how to go about the stitching on of ears, tails, mouths etc to hide the final stitch and tying off of stitching ( if you know what i mean) im worried the knot when i finish stitching will show. how can i end stitching on the inside?
I ve bought a cheap mini sewing machine too to help with he staright forward bits to save time, any advice here please?!?
Im hoping to make this a hobby and means of passing long winter nights....think it may take a while to get to the stage you guys all are at but, im a perfectionist too so what them all to look professional! lol!
thanks in advance for any help! Emx:T0 -

Cuddles, they're lovely!
Still not finished my 2nd monkey. I can only work on them when I have privacy which is either the house to myself (hah!) or late at night when everyone's in bed. I don't have to be up tomorrow so hoping to get him done tonight0 -

emrchild: How I end my sewing is to go around the seam a number of extra stitches and then do a couple of oversews
then shove the needle through (with thread attached) the body of monkey at some other point and cut the thread. Hope that makes sense.....havn't had any come apart yet. Hope we don't have a winter like last time otherwise you will have a houseful of them haha. Well done on making a start!
upsy-daisy; :0( on not loading photos. Did you make your dino with nutty-babes pattern?

I love using chenille socks as they are so soft, especially for young children.Jack of all trades ... Master of none
