nuttybabe she's cute and soft. Somebody has asked me to do one with soft socks. I get my socks when I travel up and down the country......new look/primark/asda/tesco etc etc so many socks i dream about them!

i am the same. got a huge bagful and am resisting until i use up some of them! i wont even go in primark now as i know i cant resist!!!! :P

You are a better lady than me then cos if I had a Primark near me I would be in there every week no matter how high my stash!!

I have to be honest, I've only read a little of this thread, but as I love sewing (I'm on the sewing room thread a lot) and especially using socks, well, I know it's not a monkey, but I made this little piggy:

I have a wonderful book called Stray Sock Sewing! You use two socks; stuff the toe on one and cut off the excess before sewing up the hole. Put the other sock over the stuffed toe, cut off the excess and sew up the hole, then add ears, eyes and snout before adding four little balls of stuffing and sewing round them individually to make legs.
The book explains it far better than I ever could, though - would thoroughly recommend it.
