I got some in matalan in the sale the other week, zebra stripes with sliver in and I am going to make a zebra sock monkey! Watch this space.........

i was asked to make a small one for my mates son who is having grommits in his ears next week. so here is pourly ear baby sock monkey.

thanks. but its not hair. its a cross plaster over each ear. doesnt show well in photo.

Aaaaaaaaaaah bless - he is adorable.

For once I have no sewing on the go and it feels strange.
I have just made 2 Sock Monkeys ^^^^^ (pics up there) for a friend. Cost at least £5 for materials, £1.62 postage, about 6 hours labour.

She has offered me £10.

No - in total.

seems a bit cheap but then the first one i sold i got £10 for and had to pay £2 postage out of that plus the socks, safety eyes etc and I knitted a hat and scarf so got less than 50p an hour for all my hard work!!!

here is my second attempt at making a sock bunny (not as good as yours crafty juju!!). If you want to see the first attempt which dh thinks looks like a slug, look on my blog after the weekend - not had time to update yet!

Anyhoo, here is my sock bunny.
