Sock monkeys!

loving the sock monsters i find if i use the toe of the sock it makes a better snout and the seam of the toe part (if that makes sense) i use for the upper part of the snout - for some reason that seems to work with me and makes a better shape once its stuffed i tried the heel which is what all the instructions i have found tell you to use but i just couldnt get it to sit right

i made 4 'special' monkeys for my friend for her birthday and christmas she asked for them as she wants to start collecting them lol. just finished them today

Those are incredible! And who is the little cutie holding them all?
Are you giving them all to one person? Wow, I think for one as good as each of those, with that many details I would say charge £20, I mean they are phenomenal!

thank you Thats my Son, Aiden. He never lets me take photos of him and when he said he wanted a photo of him holding the monkeys i had to take my chance while i could.

They are for my friend and her son. I didn't think that handmade stuff was quite her thing but at christmas time when i showed her the monkeys i was making for other people she loved them and asked for one. She keeps going on about starting to collect them and that all her birthday presents and christmas presents from now on are to be monkeys. They both have birthdays in sept so one each for birthday and again at christmas time.

She loves it,it is sat in her bedroom window!
She had asked for a green stripey sock monkey after seeing my Daughter's pink stripey one!!
