My contract with o2 is £35 a month and i get 600 minutes and over 1000 texts. The past 2 months my bill was very low, so i logged into my online account and it says there's £15 off my bill each month.

I have no idea what this is for! I'e been with o2 for several years now and im wondering should i ring them and ask about it or just let it continue. I don't really have a problem with getting something for free from a HUGE multi-million pound organisation, if it was a small independent company then i would feel bad. But o2 have mucked me about a lot over the years, so im thinking i might just keep quiet..... :D

    This year my deal is:-

    400 minutes / 1000sms and free o2 - 02 calls for £30 a month with a discount of £15 a month for 18 months. ( and a £150 credit ) so really I pay £90 for the whole 18 months ( £5 a month ) for the above deal !!

It is quite common to get a discount while the contract is running... the bill goes up when the contract ends unless you call to renue.

So... don't worry about it... you are getting a pretty poor deal with the discount anyway. It will be on your account and probably run for the duration of your contract.

    Enjoy !

because..... they offered me a £150 credit or a crappy phone ( 6300 ! )... I went for the money.... I don't pay anything for 10 months.... just pay the £15 for the last 8 !!

It wasa better deal than my last years Discount 500 which worked out at £8 a month..

If you want to know how to negotiate these deals read the Retentions threads
