That's awesome! I love fruit mentos! I might send them a compliment letter and see where I get!

That's amazing! I might try a compliment letter to Innocent! Good effort with the Smarties as well! I like Smarties but I developed a REALLY bad habit of swallowing them whole when I was a kid and now whenever I eat a Smartie I have to really really try hard to stop myself from swallowing it whole! It's easier just to stay away from them than risk killing myself by choking! :o
I emailed inoccent and complimented them, and they dropped a hint saying if I were to make them sometihng, they would send me some stuff.
  • Cool! I might think of something to make for Innocent!

Today I received 2 £5 vouchers for any food or drink from Caffee Nero after sending them a letter complimenting them about their food.

I was recently in Burger King in Stockport when the sales tills would not accept card payment. I had to leave the store and go to a cashpoint to withdraw the funds then go back in to the Burger King to purchase my food.
I rang the local complaints department, number found inside BK and they apologised and sent me two free meal vouchers!!

Does anyone know who's the best person from Cross Country trains to complain to? Had abuse off 2 different train managers for no reason on 2 different trains of theirs today, being reduced to tears at one point. Hmmm, well one of them may have been from first great western but as I have proof and times, they can soon clarify/rule out...
  • Finally got a reply back from McDonald's after having to mail them again asking them as to why i have not had a response from my complaint.
This is the reply i got:

    Dear Mrs Mc****

I regret that we do not appear to have received your initial e-mail to us and I am sorry for any
    further dissatisfaction this may cause.

I would therefore be grateful if you could resubmit this information by return and I will give
this matter our most urgent attention.

If we can be of further assistance please do not hesitate to revisit our web site or alternatively
telephone us on the number below.

    Regards

    So i have replied saying:

    Dear Sir/Madam ,

I contacted you regarding a complaint that i wanted to make.
When i visited Camberwell McDonald's in London i felt as though i was wrongly and dis-respectfully treat by one of the store's employees.
On around the 4th June 2009 i visited the store as i regularly do and was treat with nothing other than rudeness and abuse.
To start off my visit i was not best pleased by having to stand around in a queue that was not that big whilst heavily pregnant for around 20 minutes.
I understood that sometimes places are busy and the staff need more time.
I would have understood this more if the restaurant was more busier than what it was and if the employee's looked as if they was actually doing work , instead of standing around talking. I mean if work is all about getting paid to stand around talking and having fun with McDonald's i now question as to why so many people do not have jobs. I would certainly love to get paid to do nothing.
I would not of complained about this , but this was only just the start of my bad experience.
I was then embarrassed by the person who served me , who repeatedly messed up my order and made out like i was the wrong one.
After repeating myself several times , i was then made to feel as if i was being made out like i was racist because i could not understand this person.
After he had finally got my order correct , he then overcharged me and when i stated how he had overcharged me he again made out like this was my fault. How could this of been my fault.??
After another 5 minute discussion on how he owed me more change , i then finally got back the correct change.
The way that he spoke to me was disgusting and i do not believe should be allowed at any work placement.
After all of this he then got my meal.
The meal was cold , the chips luke warm and the burger was completely cold.!! After the experience i had already had , i decided not to complain to the actual store about this as i was already drained , embarrassed and angry at what i had just been put through.

I would like to know as to why i was treat in such a manner and as to why there are employee's working with such attitude and manners. I have been a loyal customer to McDonald's since i was a young young child , and have not once ever had one bad thing to say about them. McDonald's is the only fast food restaurant i like. But if it means being treat like something off the bottom of someone's shoe and having a cold meal i would rather not like any fast food restaurant.

I would highly appreciate it if someone could get back in contact with me , regarding my complaint as this is now the 2nd time i have wrote it up as you appear to have not received the 1st one after i had to contact you again to ask to why i had no reply.

    Thank You

    Yours ,

    Mrs. V. Mc****.

Good luck with Cross-Country... we complained to them at New Year when we were sold first class tickets only to find out the usual first class facilities didn't operate over Christmas/New Year. We complained and got a cut and pasted reply that didn't even answer the question, let alone admit that they were in the wrong or offering to make it up to us. I was tempted to write back but didn't bother. I was a naive Moneysaver back then... I wouldn't let them fob me off now! :-)
Good Luck with them... don't let them get away with it!
