so you basically lied? lol0

Um, isn't this meant to be an honest way of getting freebies if you're lucky with it? Rather than making up complaints to make sure you get something you shouldn't otherwise...0

Hi Ciara
Yes that's right you'll get the £2 off and just pay the 50p...not a bad deal!
You may also find with some coupons that even if you don't spend the full amount you will still be credited with the total amount off your bill...eg you have a voucher for £2, the product only costs £1.50 and you also get 50p towards your shopping.
You must however buy the item on the coupon otherwise you will have problems!!
Hope that helps!:j
Thanks for replying Smart1e I wasn't sure.
I now look forward to the post:rotfl:

MORE STUFF!
Recieved £9!! from the lovely people at Gu and they gave me some chocolate shaving's and a small whisk so generous.
Still waiting to get my vouchers from Vaseline.
Recieved some herbal essences samples today tooso all in all pleased with the few companies I've heard back from will continue to write to them compliments or compliants. Goes without saying on when I have genuine complaints.

I am thinking of starting this, and I have a few questions:
Do you write letters or send emails to these companies?
If you send e-mails, how do the companies send you vouchers?
Do you compliment them or complain?
Do they always send coupons?
How do you get them to send coupons to you (do you just state that you want coupons or do you hint that you would like some)?
Thanks0 -

I've written a few emails and they tend to mostly reply.. if they want to give you something (voucher/sample) they just ask for your address in the email back to you. They don't always send coupons.. its upto them whether they want to. Just be honest regarding your reason of emailing.. whether complaining about a product or complimenting it.0 -

Hi,
I came across this thread last night and thought I would send a few emails about products I like and so far have had the following replies:
Youngs - An email thanking me for the compliments
Cathedral City - Same as above
Space NK - A very helpful phonecall from their customer services recommending what products to use for my skin type and the promise of some samples - I was very impressed with them!
L'Occitane - The promise of some samples in the post!
John Frieda - An email asking me to call them to discuss my hair type, which I did and they recommended lots of products for my hair type but said they don't send out samples.
So all in all, not bad eh?!I love comping! Just waiting for the call from ITV!
:j Best win so far... iPad 3, £500 & KitchenAid Mixer :j0 -
