I ordered a shop from tesco and my little one was going mad for some choc chip muffins, so added a pack, anyway, when they came (15th Nov) they had an expired date of the 13th! I know sometimes this is just a guideline, so opened up the box and they were so far from edible! They were stale and smelt off. I am really annoyed! I know it seems trivial but I had to deal with my daughter tantruming most of the day because she couldn't have a muffin she'd wanted!
Or just teach 'em properly. I fail to understand why you would treat them for having a tantrum over some muffins.Thought for the day: each generation of mankind tends to hug the illusion of having reached the culmination of human achievement. Yet, as we scoff at our groping ancestors, so our descendants will surely scoff at us.

Hi,
Whats the best way to get freebies? Can someone help me with what to say when I e-mail / write a letter to a company.
I'm not good with my wording
Thanks in advanceM. Ejaz0 -
Received pantene shampoo, conditioner & a repair masque today, my other half received some protein powder and gels. Looks like contact with companies and finding freebies is slowing down now.IBS - D sufferer since 2008, Anxiety sufferer since 20100

Nice suprise from Jus-roll today!
Made one of the recipes from their web site and the pastry didn't rise as much as that in the photo-wasn't really complaining, just asked if they had any ideas what I'd done wrong.
Anyway that was a while ago and TBH I'd forgotten about it......today they wrote to me about their quality controls, said maybe my pastry had slipped through and sent me a £5 postal order :j nice suprise!!Thanks to all posters for your never ending help and support:beer:0 -

It works when your usually in the big dept stores and just ask for samples, say you saw something amag advert and wan to try it - sometimes they try it on your skin in store and if its clinque or estee lauder if they say do u want to try anything else - be like well i want a new foundation can you oput some lippie on? hey presto a free makeover and just get them to write down the shades and products used and you will buy them wen a free gift is on or something so your not too tied in to purchase0 -
Apologies if there is a thread like this already,if there is,a link to the thread would be excellent
People who write/email companies and get freebies off them, how do you do it?What do you say? I've tried before and had no reply or no success and they've just fobbed me off
I was wondering what people say to get something free?Do you just bluntly ask for vouchers, samples etc or do you butter them up in hope of some?
Thanks in advance2012 Mission - Save, win, collect as much as possible
