Freebie Successes by Letter / Email - What have you recieved? (merged)

I received a huge parcel full of options samples today! was only expecting 1 or 2 but think i recieved 2 of every flavour! cathedral city promised some vouchers but still havent received them!

After reading through every single page of this thread (it took ages! - but well worth it) I've sent compliments/queries/questions to lots of companies posted here and many more. All very much genuine of course.

Carlsberg - 2 shirts
Whyte & Makay - 1 shirt
Chanel - 12 sample parfums
Nads - waxing strips and wax
Options - 2 sachets of hot chocolate (so delicious!)
Cafe Direct - loads of samples
Yorkshire - whole box of tea
Cravendale - 4 vouchers for free milk
Silver Spoon - 2 recipe booklets
Pataks - vouchers and a huge cook book (so lovely that I'm giving it to my mother for chrimbo)

Loads of various vouchers also. It has been great fun telling companies exactly how I feel about their products and what I would change, if anything. Plus all of the vouchers have really helped with the food bill. HUGE thanks to everyone for posting their successes!

Oh my gosh! Tres impressed! Nice to see that companies actually do value their customers! Keep up the effort everyone! :T

What sort of thing do you guys write? I load up word and stare at the blinking cursor, make a "hmmmm" noise and give up and do something else

I can never think of what to write, does any one have some examples they can post or PM over to me?

Obviously wont send what you wrote, or I'll look silly; I just want a rough idea of what you guys are saying to get results.

Aww, aren't the people from Options sweet? It genuinely does pay for businesses to give people a few freebies, I'll certainly remember the next time I go shopping.

I wanted to try some of their limited edition jazzy ginger but apparently they're not stocking them at the moment, and might not be until next year. But I'm getting some samples in the post

I just tell them what I like about their product and any suggestions I might have. Some companies you email/write to may send someone a voucher and you might get a nice email back.
