Interesting developments...
Tried to order a lingerie set for my better half on the website, but kept getting an error code:The product you have selected cannot be purchased at this time.
Turns-out the site has no stock but they have stock in stores & the system has obviously not been updated, so I called customer services. They took the order and allowed the 15% code even though I was only paying with my usual debit card. However, I could NOT use the SHA1 code because I'm not a Gold card holder - this may be why some peoples orders are getting refused on the site.
It's not a perfect system by far - although I am not a Gold Card holder I can still use SHA1 on the site - but it does help explain some of the inconsistencies for us all here (some being able to place orders & others not).No signature here. Move along please.0 -
Hi, I have placed several orders recently using SHA1 (free delivery) & PC5P (15% off) all worked at the time but when the orders were processed the reduction and postage were NOT deducted making the orders costly - please beware.0

Just be aware that using code SHA1 without using a debenhams card means that they will still take the £4.50 delivery charge. It happened to me. I was told I had stolen the free delivery code so they just added it on after I placed the order. I am currently fighting with them to get it back.

If you spend over £100 you get free delivery anyway. I was looking for luggage, and mine came to over that amount, but without the discount codes working I felt reluctant to place the order.
