I'm really unhappy with Debenhams! I ordered a duvet in the sale, a few days later I received a despatch confirmation e-mail, and had the money taken from my credit card. After waiting a week or so I contacted them several times by e-mail to chase the order. I eventually had an e-mail back from them to say the item was out of stock & they would refund my credit card in 7 days. I think this has happened to other people. I am amazed it took until I repeatedly chased the order for them to let me know this, I wonder what would have happened if I hadn't? I thought I had a contract with them once they'd taken my money, but I'm not an expert on this.......

Obviously I don't expect you all to be able to see into the future but as as a first time buyer from the Debenhams website I'm surprised to find they only offer one type of delivery which can take upto 5 working days.
I'm thinking of ordering a dress for a party on Friday and wondered what the likelyhood of it turning up for then would be?

Same has happened to me,several times!!!!!!
Also sometimes charged for delivery even after using free delivery code.

Free standard delivery code: SHA1
20% off code: PL7P
15% off code: PC5P
10% off code: PF6P

Using the 20%, 15% and 10% at the same time will simply give you 20%. Nothing more. PL7P and SHA1 will give you 20% off and free delivery at the same time, just separate them with a comma.
