  • I spent about £70 on friday:eek:
I hand carried a peppa pig toddler bed home which was £39.99 , and put it up together with teen son, was quite impressed as it had a metal frame and instuctions were easy to follow.
also got a peppa pig duvet set for £7.99 and im really not sure what else i bought:rotfl:
The bed was worth the price as my daughter who is 2 1/2 wouldnt sleep in a cotbed so she loves this bed and is no longer in my bed:j

these beds are such fab value... DS has been in his car one we got from them for last year and a half since he was 1..... he LOVES it. only problem is he like Thomas now but can't justify buying that one. :rotfl:
loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:
  • In Coatbridge today I got lovely M&S Mothers day cards, there was a lovely selection to choose from. Some of them were originally £5 and had wee lights on them! But in home bargains they were 29p.

Lots of nice Mothers Day cards in Prenton store, mostly 59p & 69p. Some of them are M&S cards.

It looks as if the Marmite Savoury Cereal bars are being withdrawn. Around £1.80 in Tesco, these were 49p in Peterlee Home Bargains yesterday. Beautiful Easter Bonnet kits that I hadn't seen before, Dove Visible Difference body lotion for £1.99.
Just polished off a 50g packet of very more-ish Majan's Bhuja Bombay Mix style snack that was really tasty, two varieties currently on offer for an unmissable 19p.
The range of shampoos and conditioners carried seems to grow weekly. Some lovely Charles Worthington products yesterday (twice the price in Tesco). The gorgeous salt and vinegar rice crackers have been joined by sweet chilli crackers now -yum!

In Retford today, the Organix snack packs (carrot, tomato, cheese/herb puffs) for 10p a pack. The cheese/herb puffs are actually a multipack of 4 for 39p.

And Marmite breadsticks for 25p a pack, which are next door in B&M at 99p for a whole box of 24 packs!

Jordans nutty breakfast cereal back in stock in my local -I love it.
A bit more expensive than it was - used to be £1.39 but have been out of stock for 2 months. Now £1.49 but still half the price of the big supermarkets.
I got a couple of very nice ex M&S Mothers day cards for 29p each.
    Marked at £3 RRP.
Tried the Marmite bars - they're vile!
I also got a huge roll of paper table cover in a pretty red poppy design.I thought it said they were 99p ,but went through at 39p - I thought that was very cheap as it is very good quality.

Today I picked up a pack of 2 potato planting tubs (material ones with easy harvest flaps) for £1.99 and they had a selection of seed potatoes for 99p. Should be able to grow a fair amount with these by staggering planting.

The Marmite bars have set a record. They are the only snack food I have seen my grandchildren (who eat everything in this line) put in the bin half eaten. The 19p Bombay mix snacks were lovely though.
