In Liverpool, at the East Lancs store I bought a PLAYSKOOL GLOWORLD 2-IN-1 FIREFLY MOBILE http://www.hasbro.com/playskool/en_US/shop/details.cfm?guid=2C792DAC-19B9-F369-D93B-0DABA4EF5A7D&product_id=25804&src=endeca for £9.99. The cheapest I could find it was £18 on Amazon, with some places up to the RRP of £49.99!
Seems really well made, solid with excellent details, a real bargain! You do need 3 "C" size batteries which are not included.Right now I'm having amnesia and deja- vu at the same time. I think I've forgotten this before0 -
I got some great ITNG books, this one http://shop.abc.net.au/browse/product.asp?productid=543421&SearchID=7638739&SearchRefineID=13845319 for £1.99 and this one http://shop.abc.net.au/browse/product.asp?productid=537197&promoid=380 for 99p. The first one is a lovely popup book and the plays theme tune on the last page, DGS loves them and has had great fun dancing to the music.0

I have been getting some of the 'Fab Animals' bits for my girls after their auntie got them a bag for christmas (£1.99 when RRP is £9.99) - have seen A5 notebooks and A4 folders (which are a bit old for them), they are great little sets and they love the designs - 99p /79p is a bargain to put away for stocking fillers etc.
Has anyone seen any other items ie pencil cases around Middlesbrough stores please?0 -

Oh marvellous - thank you:)
Will pop in hopefully or get my sil to get some for me - I am going to get a couple for school party pressies and stocking fillers, I am sure little girls will love them!
Have not been to the Thornaby one for a while - girls are of an age now where we don't really go shopping much as they get bored, it was easier when they sat in their pushchair happily. I tend to go to Coulby Newham.0 -
:Di prefer thornaby to coulby bit quiter but with good stock levels loads of the kids stationary bits in hello kitty etc, have also got the reeces peanut bars for 29p at the moment.......must resist, must resist0
