In Glenrothes store today what was left of the 2011 children's annuals were reduced to 10p. Star Wars, Star Wars Clones, Transformers, Pokemon, Marvel Superheroes, I-Carly, Dinosaur King, Blue Peter were the ones I can remember.0

The beautiful thing about learning is nobody can take it away from you.
Thanks to everyone who contributes to this wonderful forum. I'm very grateful for the guidance and friendliness that I always receive from you.

I think you are confusing 'use by' with 'best before'. there's many of us out here buying things which are cheaper because they are close to their 'best before' date (or even, shock horror, well past it!!) who are still here to tell the tale. Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.0 -
I got a peppa pig blanket (fleece) for 3.99 which is huge! The other day i got a set of chrome metal type set of two garden planters for £3.99. I actually use these in my bathroom though to store my make up in:rotfl:
I have to confess though a huge B&M stores is opening this week and i am sadly over excited at the prospect of getting even more bargains:p***MSE...My.Special.Escape***0 -

Is there any need for your 'Shock Horror' sarcasm? I put what I believed to be the case in my post and I get shot down for trying to be of some help to people. I write very little on the forums these days, mainly because of the responses some people get for trying to be helpful to others. So thank you for your comments, I won't bother posting again.0 -
Didn't see them today yorkieorchid, will keep an eye out though.. Horrible expression, I mean that I'll watch out for them for you

It wasn't intended as sarcasm, so it's a shame you've taken it as such - as an Approved Foods customer, I have a strange sense of humour and I've got used to others being shocked and horrified at the attitude I have towards best before dates, but, like you, I thought I was being helpful when suggesting you may have misunderstood the labelling on the products.
I'm sure you will be missed, but for one won't stop trying to be helpful because somebody took offence. Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.0 -
