These are the large bags that are about £1.35 elsewhere, not bad for 29p!

Kendal HB had loads of duracell torches inc. batteries starting at £2.99 and going up to £7.99 for camping lanterns.

Martha Stewart scented candles - 9" pillar - for £1.49. Martha Stewart is that American women. I`ve got the herb garden one burning now - not bad at all!

I haven't tried them before but you know what Home Bargains is like, you see something that is really cheap and you must try it.

I wish I hadn't tried one as I couldn't stop at one, they are quite moreish. I will have to put the other 2 bags on one of the top shelves in the kitchen cupboard, otherwise they won't last long.

    :)

    For any snorers out there.

They have Stop Snore Rings in for £3.49 www.stopsnorering.com which may or not work but may be worth trying at this price.

Bishop Auckland branch have the bags of Luxury Chocolate (Thornton's) Bars in again.
I got two bags, both were nearly all coffee and guess who doesn't like coffee.
I have the other bars airing at the moment, the coffee smell on them has over powered everything else, including the smell of chocolate

Er, they don't and won't work.

Same as 'magnets' don't work [on anything, other than paper clips].

Same as 'copper bangles' don't work.

Same as 'aloe vera' doesn't work.

Same as all other 'bio-goobledygook' scams don't work.

Save the £3.49 and buy the OH a pair of ear-plugs with it...lol.

My favourite quote wrt to these scams is

"Q - What do you call an alternative medicine that actually works? A - Medicine!!!"

    A quote for you:

Even amongst the best "scientific" minds no one knows how an aspirin works. They know how aspirin effects the body and what symptoms it will help alleviate, but no one knows the mechanisms by which it functions.
The same is true with acupressure.

Placebo and mind over matter can work on the best of us. Please dont be so dismissive.
