One problem with the lavender scented vacuum bags - made me giggle!- will they have a vacuum at your holiday placed to resuck the bag to go home? Just taxed my barely scrapped physics A level brain with the thought of lavender scent in a vacuum, umm, scratches head.

I tried to explain to the room cleaner in Egypt why I wanted to use their vacuum cleaner ....:rotfl: The poor man thought I was crazy.

In the end I just rolled the bag & squashed the air out that way. It was excellent for keeping all the underwear together, I have not really recovered from the time our case was damaged & DH's drawers were on full view at the baggage carousel :o

I take Marigolds, scrubbing sponges, cloths and Flash on holiday. You just don't know who's bum has sat on the loo before yours and no matter how nice the place and how thorough the maid there is always a crinkly hair in the bathroom somewhere. First job is cleaning the bathroom then it's putting in my own toilet roll. Then we can relax and have a holiday :T.

Yes I know I am weird and I wish I was this manic about cleaning my house.

We always holiday in this country, either a caravan or self catering and I always took all the cutlery and dishes from the cupboards and drawers and washed them but I bought cheap outdoor melamine type plates, mugs and glasses and smart price cutlery from Asda and at least I know we're the only ones who have used them.
So there are a few of us weird folk out there lol.

Does anyone know the size of the vacuum bags, please?

Has anyone seen digital kitchen scales in any of the Leeds stores recently. Ideally Cross Gates as I can get to that one quite easily and need some before Friday!
