    Oswestry have a good one.
  • Bought a cheesy stocking filler for 59p, a mug with coffee tea sugar milk on it with tick boxes and a wipe off pen so you can indicate your preference, got it for a giggle, I will probably end up using it myself though :D
Ahhhh.... lemony fresh victory is mineee!!!
  • Christmas has come early for everyone in Birmingham. I have just discovered another Home Bargains (although it has been open approximately three months :rotfl:- where have I been) at the Stechford Retail Park by Matalan. It was full of stock yet empty of people this morning - Birmingham's best kept secret maybe......

I am so glad there is one in Stechford now. I always go to the Northfield one from Solihull, but now the Stechford one has appeared, I shall be going there!

I am going to make a trip especially on pay day (Tuesday) after discovering this thread, the place sounds great:T

I am doing my Xmas shopping every night after work this week but I want to go to HB first - I will either end up not buying anything as I will think oh I will get it cheaper at HB....or I will buy normal stuff AND stuff from HB and spend a bomb :rotfl:

We really are on a tight budget this Xmas and lots of young people in the family so this is starting to sound like a godsend.

2 questions - is it a bit like Wilkinsons/are things cheaper/better than Wilkinsons or should I just go there (again, I won't want to buy anything at W if I think I can get it at HB!!)

Second question - I read on here the Sheffield Hillsborough shop is big - what about Sheffield Parkway, has anyone been, is it any good? I work until 5, Hillsborough shuts at half past, Parkway shuts at 6. They are shut Sunday!!!!

Sorry for all the questions but I am making a special car trip and totally reorganising my Xmas shopping as I don't want to be haunted by the idea I paid too much for something that I could have got at HB, which I only heard of today!!!!!!! LOL :rotfl:

Hello, fellow Sheffield :D I love HomeBargains, but it's a very random place. What they have in depends on what other shops want to get rid of. Don't go expecting it to have evrything you need. It's well worth a visit though :j

Hillsborough's better but the Parkway's no poor relation so if it's more convenient, just go there and don't worry that you're missing out.

I'll probably go to Hillsborough Mon/Tues next week so if there's anything particular you're looking for, let me know and I'll tell you if they've got it
