Don't worry Andy2004, we don't have a HB in our area either - the closest one to us is about 26 miles away:mad:
Not very handy when you don't drive:mad:
We want one too (south west scotland)!!

26miles, lol when i did a search on their site for their stores i click on the 50miles, and nope none in that area. so i would have to travel more than 50miles to my nearest store. Wherever that is, lucky for me poundland have opened a store, but even thats 8miles away.

    Snugster bad joke.

Durham HB had some Plantana PhytoCosmetics products earlier this week. Shower gels and body lotions were 49p, cleansing toner £1.xx. These seem to be free of parabens, silicone etc, smell nice and look "expensive" ;)

Still plenty of the Remington Rag Roller sets, black aprons 99p and the Jamie Oliver reversible aprons £2.49.

I also got some Kindred Spirit Silver unisex bodyspray 69p. DS tells me this smells like one of the Calvin Klein fragrances, not sure which one but way cheaper.

    hi all

in the thornaby store yesterday and i got some dragonflys. They have a little battery in and the they light up turning into different colours, i saw the exact same ones last week in m & s for £3.99 each--they are only 59p in hb. These would be lovely for nite time barbies and on a fire place in the winter:j

There's a Home Bargains opening up in Berwick soon apparently, handy for my mum as she is down that way and jealous of the one I go to in Rutherglen.

I found discovery nacho kit in morley, basically a big bag of nachos, cheese sauce and 2 bags of salsa - for £1.75, in the supermarkets they were about a quid more last i looked.

the real bargain, though, was that they had a £2 off coupon on the side for one of my favourite beers - Sol!

These are yummy! I like the chilli ones.

Getting withdrawal symptons from HB. Wish I had a branch near me. Next visit sometime next week when I visit my family. Am taking my huge suitcase, so I can bring back all my bargains! :j
