  • Bought a lovely tin of chocs for my MIL today from Home Bargains in Huddersfield. It was quite a big tin (I've given it to her so can't check size) with a lovely 3D image on the front of teddies. Had a sticker showing price of £6.99, I think I paid either £1.99 or £2.99 will check reciept tomorrow. Looked really nice for the money.

No clinking for me. All of the 4 boxes I got were well packed.:rotfl:

You're right it doesn't clink when you buy it by the case.
    Good idea

Once again I am looking for the Ronseal sprayable fence paint in dark oak (£3.99). None in Stockton though they did have the spray gun so I'm assuming that they will still be selling the fence paint. If anyone sees any in Thornaby, Middlesbrough or Coulby could you let me know. Thanks in advance.

    Rutherglen today had

Digital Coin jar 3.99 - Keeps count of the money that goes in.
(Got this as a fathers day pressie for my Dad who is a bit of a moneysaver) Would be good for kids too to encourage them to save and see how it mounts up.

Issue 1 of the Tracey Beaker magazine they had a few weeks ago (different issue). This comes with a DVD with 4 or 5 episodes and some stickers. 99p

Kenco Sustainable development coffee (100g) 1.99
(had to buy for DH as he was complaining how awful the Maxwell house from Poundland was!!)

Perfectly Clear Flavoured water with sportscap/lid 27p (500ml)

    Frisps 9pk for price of 6 99p

Haribo Marshmallows 89p for 250g bag (rrp 1.99)

Robinsons Blackcurrant and Apple Squash back in (2ltr) 99p

Simple Baby wipes (pk of 80 wipes) 99p
(got some in Morrisons last week and they were around 1.30 a pk!)

Ariel tabs with febreze big box of 48 (24 washes) 4.99
They still have the clear boxes of 9 liquitabs for 2.29 but the big box is much better value.

Hope to have a child free shop day next week so next time will maybe see more bargains. DS with me so dragged me past everything to the sweets and crisps!:rotfl:

Prenton store had these this afternoon for £2.99. Would certainly make a lovely gift. They had a BB date of Sept 09.

Do they have any Jamie Oliver aprons in Bletchley? Looking for a double birthday present for my boss and his fiance whose birthdays are a day apart! Party this weekend.........
Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.
